Building a shared narrative.
I facilitated the translation of scientific data into a structured, public-facing story using Miro. This enabled real-time feedback and alignment with the research team.
Designing with intention
Building on the narrative structure, I developed a visual system that supported clarity and consistency across the dashboard. I designed complex, section-specific color palettes to distinguish themes and improve legibility, and created bivariate palettes to power the comparison maps. I also outlined the type styles specific to copy, labeling, and sources. These palettes allowed users to interpret layered data relationships intuitively, while ensuring accessibility and visual coherence.
Animating the experience
I collaborated closely with development to create subtle animations that guide the user through data insights, making the storytelling dynamic rather than static.
